Synopsis
Within the French Intelligence Agency (the DGSE), a special department called Le Bureau des légendes trains and remotely manages deep-cover agents. Operating in foreign countries, their mission is to recruit potential intelligence sources. Remaining undercover, under a “legend”—using false identities—they spend years maintaining their cover.
Guillaume Debailly, also known as Paul Lefebvre and Malotru, returns from a six-year undercover assignment in Syria. But he breaks security protocols and refuses to give up his cover identity—the identity he assumed while in Damascus. His romance with a Syrian woman, Nadia El Mansour, is only going to make matters worse, as he works for both the DGSE and the CIA. For love, he is willing to risk it all—not only for himself, but for the entire BUREAU.
