Synopsis
Within the French General Directorate for External Security (DGSE), a department known as Le Bureau des légendes trains and remotely directs so-called clandestine agents, immersed in foreign countries, whose mission is to identify people likely to be recruited as intelligence sources. Operating in the shadows, «under legend», i.e. under a fabricated identity, they live for many years in permanent concealment.
Guillaume Debailly, a.k.a. Paul Lefebvre, a.k.a. Malotru, has just returned from a six-year clandestine mission in Syria, but in contravention of security regulations, he doesn't seem to have given up his legend and the identity under which he was living in Damascus. His love affair with the Syrian Nadia El Mansour will seriously complicate matters, and lead him to play a double game between the DGSE and the CIA.

This interactive exhibition recreates its most emblematic settings, allowing visitors to play an active part in the mission. Starting point: a diplomatic crisis has just erupted with the Republic of the West (a fictional state). The state is counting on you to give it your best shot by taking on the role of a secret agent.
